About Kathleen Whaley, MD

Kathleen Whaley, MD, has practiced addiction medicine since the fall of 2012. She entered the specialty as a practitioner at the methadone and buprenorphine clinic at the Indianapolis Treatment Center, after which time she accepted a position with Fairbanks Hospital’s Clearvista Recovery Associates. Since that time, Kathleen Whaley, MD, has served in the maternal addiction treatment clinic at Serenity Medical Center and in the psychiatric department at Sycamore Springs Hospital.

Kathleen Whaley, MD, has now relocated her practice to New York State. She serves within Conifer Park, a chemical dependency treatment group with outpatient offices in Rochester. Dr. Whaley comes to her work having recently completed 119 continuing medical education (CME) hours in various aspects of addiction medicine.

Also experienced in emergency and urgent care, Dr. Whaley completed her residency at the Methodist Hospital of Indiana and her internship at Albany Memorial Hospital in New York. She completed her doctor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she earned induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
